Due to COVID-19 and the Public Health Order restrictions, only a limited number of people are permitted to attend in person.  This limit has been reached therefore the public is encouraged to attend via Zoom.

This PUBLIC HEARING is being convened pursuant to Section 464 of the Local Government Act in order to receive verbal and written submission from persons who believe that their interest in property is affected by Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 849 or Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 850:

Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 849, 2020

•     Bylaw No. 849 proposes to amend Schedule “B” of the Village of Lumby Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 761. 2014 by changing the land use designation of the property legally described as Lot A, DL 308, ODYD, Plan 35201 from Mobile Home Park to Residential Medium Density.

Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 850, 2020

  • Bylaw No. 850 proposes to amend Schedule “A” of the Village of Lumby Zoning Bylaw No. 750, 2012 by changing the zoning of the property legally described as Lot A, DL 308, (DYD, Plan 35201 from the Residential Manufactured Home Park [R.5] Zone to the Residential Multiple Family [R.3] Zone. If successful in rezoning the property, the applicant proposes to develop four residential four-plex buildings and one three-storey building for a total of 36 residential dwelling units.

All persons who believe that their interest in property is affected by Bylaw No 849 or Bylaw No. 850 will be given an opportunity to be heard at this Public Hearing or to present written submissions respecting matters contained in the Bylaws.
